Ang Nawawala (The Vanished) audio series on Serye FM
Chuckberry Pascual’s award-winning collection, “Ang Nawawala” (The Vanished), is now available on Spotify!
In Barangay Talong Punay, every item—no matter how small—matters. From missing knives to rings and even milkfish, if something is “missing,” Bree is surely on top of it.
As a receptionist, Bree is the voice of truth at the barangay hall. She sees all the drama (and the dirt) in the neighborhood. Amidst the humor and the daily complaints, we get a glimpse of the real-life challenges and social issues faced by Filipinos today.
Produced by Serye FM, this isn’t your typical audiobook. It’s an immersive, serialized dramatization that brings back the charm of classic radio dramas—complete with sound effects and intense emotion—reimagined for the modern listener.

The Gathering Bees
The Gathering Bees is the new and revised edition of the critically acclaimed collection, Kumpisal: mga kuwento, originally released in 2015.
This translation by Ralph Semino Galán retains the six stories that make up the Gabriel and Alejandro sequence, with three additional stories drawn from the 2020 collection Hindi Ito Romansa. The entire story cycle now comprises nine stories, featuring repeated encounters across different worlds between Gabriel and Alejandro, two beings who are themselves constantly changing and persevering—there is uncertainty in their quest, and often, the only truth they hold on to is their desire.
The book features cover art created in oil paint, accompanied by nine graphite illustrations for each story, all done by Iloilo-based artist Kristoffer Brasileño. Brasileño’s participation is made possible by Delan Robillos and The Artery Manila.

Translated by Giuli Stamatiou
A transgender woman, still shaken by the disappearance of her parents, begins searching for everything that has been lost in her village and, without wanting to, unearths additional mysteries.
The adventures of Bree, a masseuse-receptionist for an entire Filipino village, are so delightful that they make her an unlikely detective.
Disappearance Stories is a comical, queer collection of stories, which are nevertheless interconnected and can be read as chapters of a detective novel.

The Vanished (Ang Nawawala)
Ang Nawawala (The Vanished) is a comic, queer, and Filipino take on the detective novella. It is made up of seven interconnected stories featuring the exploits of Brigido, a.k.a. “Bree,” a masseuse and barangay (village) hall receptionist turned unlikely detective. Bree’s search for these small, seemingly inconsequential objects and persons unearths other issues and crimes in the village of Talong Punay.
